Caterpillar

This past weekend Caterpillar had an open house and a demonstration show for their employees and families.  Rob's dad came to Illinois and we had a really good time.  Kaitlyn stayed at home with a babysitter and we were free to have a good time.   They had a really good show they put on.  They brought out all of the different machines that Cat makes and shows us what they do.  Logan had a great time looking at all the machines.  He even said to Rob "it is cool seeing what you help make"  At the end of the demo we were able to go down and climb and sit on the machines.  We went down to see the machine that is made at Robs building.  We got lots of pictures of the days event.  

After we left the demo, we went to see where Rob works.  We were allowed in the building and got to see the "wonderful" conditions Rob gets to work in every night.  I thought it was a lot better than at Electrolux in Webster City!!    We did not get to see where his personal area was, but we got to see almost all of the machines that he fixes.  I was surprised at how many he is responsible for.  I have a new understanding of what he goes through at night.
