Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!!  Rob, Logan Kaitlyn and my parents went  to watch the fireworks.  We found a new place in East Peoria that was great and easy to get in and out of!!  It gave us a nice place for the kids to run around while we waited for the festive to start.  It was really relaxing compared to the last 5 years where we went down town Peoria where the rest of the population was at.  We had to walk 1 mile both directions to get there, and then when we did, there was so many people there that you were constantly watching out for yourself and your family.  This year we walked about 2 blocks and had a fantastic view- much better than when we were downtown.

We all wondered how katie was going to do with the fireworks, but when they started, she was mesmerised with the colors and sounds.  It was a great night!!!
